  Peter Kuttner

Peter Kuttner is an innovative contemporary artist who finds personal freedom of expression through his provocative use of color and passion for texture. Projecting a strength of confidently defined space with technical mastery , his organic patterning is both evocative and modern. He describes his unique style as a combination of traditional and new techniques, lucky mistakes and color theory.

Peter was born in Boston and was raised there and in the southern coast of Maine. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida and began his early career as a writer and Art director for the New Life Films motion picture company. He later headed the graphics department at the National Museum of American Illustration.

Peter looks for inspiration and ideas both within his own personal vision and experience, but also by absorbing his surroundings in Arizona where he currently lives.
